JEFF COX (Keyboard I) is a junior music major at Cornell University. Most recently, Jeff served as Music Director for a concert version of Aida at Cornell. Previous MTC credits include Music Director for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Assistant Music Director and Piano for I Love You Because. Jeff also plays piano in Cornell's jazz program and is an alumnus of the Anything Goes musical theatre troupe. Special thanks to Paul Merrill, John Rowehl, Cynthia Johnston-Turner, Kevin Stites, Michael Valentine, Beth Quackenbush, a loving family and supportive friends.
ADELAIDE McDONNELL (Keyboard II, Guitar II) is a junior at Cornell University majoring in Music. She is concentrating in musicology, but is still an active performer. She is in the University's Wind Symphony, and studies saxophone under Steven Mauk at Ithaca College. This is her first production with MTC, and she is very excited. She has never been in a pit during a production before, but has performed in her local theatre company's productions of Aida and Chicago during high school. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support.
JACK REEP (Guitar I) is a psychology student at Cornell University, but he'll tell you the most important learning is done outside of the classroom. By taking a job in the Cornell library shipping facility and getting involved with the music community here in Ithaca and Cornell, Jack's certainly been making the most of his time. He's been playing in pit orchestras for the past six years and loves the intensity and energy that comes with the gig. He's performed in productions, such as Cabaret, Aida, Grand Hotel, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Annie, and Merrily We Roll Along. Jack looks forward to a bright future here at Cornell and beyond.
ZAC MANCHESTER (Bass) is a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering at Cornell. Most days he can be found working on tiny spacecraft for his Ph.D. research. He has also played bass in the Cornell jazz bands for five years and has previously played in pit orchestras for Fiddler on the Roof, Barnum, and Urinetown.
RODDY RUSSELL, JR. (Drums) is freshman at Cornell University studying civil engineering. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Roddy has been playing the drums since he was seven and performed in his high school's Jazz and R&B band as well as with Quest's Q City Soundz, a music program in Brooklyn for middle and high school students. Currently, Roddy plays with the Steel Pan Orchestra and the Appel Jazz Combo at Cornell. This is his first time playing in a pit orchestra, and he is excited to be working with everyone. Shout out to his mother, all of the teachers and staff at Benjamin Banneker Academy for Community Develoment, his high school alma mater, Brian Woodruff, his jazz drum teacher at Brooklyn Music School during his middle school years, Jeff Cox, for the recommendation, and all of his friends and family.
