JEFF TISSUE (Mark Cohen), originally from Pittsburgh, PA, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University.
Jeff is excited to be participating in his second MTC production, after playing Austin Bennett in the company's Fall 2009 production of I Love You Because.
In addition to his participation in musical theatre, Jeff is the President and proud member of Absolute A Cappella.
Jeff would like to thank his mother for being his #1 fan and always giving him endless love and support.
He would like to thank the rest of his friends and family for always pushing him to be the best man he can be and truly believing in him.
Finally, to the cast and crew of Rent, it has been an honor and a blessing to be surrounded with such incredibly talented and loving people.

SEAN GRANDILLO (Roger Davis) is a freshman at Ithaca College pursuing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.
He could not be happier about this wonderful opportunity to be in the cast of Rent for his first MTC production, and his first since arriving at college.
Favorite previous credits include Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Josh Baskin in Big: The Musical, Macduff in Macbeth, and Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Sean is thrilled to get a chance to perform this year, and wants to thank Tim, Jeff, Lucy, and everyone involved at the MTC for the wonderful experience.
Also, love to his family and to Caroline, always.

MONA KELKAR (Mimi Marquez) is a Senior in Biological Engineering at Cornell University.
She has been singing and doing theatre since middle school.
She has been in Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Once on this Island, Working, West Side Story, and Guys and Dolls.
She is thrilled to be a part of this production, and is excited to work with such a talented cast and crew!

ERIC HAGREEN (Tom Collins)

XAVIER REYES (Angel Dumott Schunard) is an acting major at Ithaca College from Puerto Rico.
Previous credits include Rhinoceros directed by Jason Barrera at Ithaca College, Paul and others at Rent (Original Puerto Rico Cast), Dr. Grimwig in Oliver, and Daniel's son in Once On this Island.
TV credits include Pétalo y su Jardin Multicolor to be transmitted in Spain.

ARIEL ARBISSER (Maureen Johnson) previously performed with the MTC in Little Women: The Musical (Marmee), Candide (Old Woman), and Songs For a New World (Woman #2).
Recently, Ariel produced, co-wrote, and performed in Sex, Drugs, and A Cappella: An Original Web Series, co-produced an award-winning EP and album with co-ed collegiate group the Cornell Chordials, and was the featured soloist for two tracks on their "best of" a cappella compilation albums.
Ariel was also featured in performance and recording with professional all-male a cappella group Overboard, and won Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards for Best Mixed Solo and Song of 2010.
Ariel performs regularly with local bands, including The Jeff Love Band, and is completing her fourth semester with the Actor's Workshop of Ithaca.

OLIVIA DONALSON (Joanne Jefferson)

RYAN SMITH (Benjamin Coffin III) a sophomore Electrical and Computer Engineer at Cornell University, is from Cleveland, Ohio.
Ryan has been in shows such as Urinetown, Footloose, Rent: School Edition, and The Wedding Singer.
However, this is his first show since being in college.
Ryan enjoys playing tennis and listening to music.
He is highly involved in his a cappella group "The Hangovers" at Cornell.
He is also involved in The Cornell University Glee Club.
He is very excited to be in Rent for a second time and is enjoying his first MTC production!

BRITTANY DUFFIN (Mrs. Cohen and others) is from Stamford, Connecticut and is a freshmen at Ithaca College, majoring in Theater Studies.
She played basketball since the second grade and advanced to Varsity captain Junior year when she moved on to theatre.
Ever since she started theatre in high school, she has fallen in love with the craft and it has become her life.
Previous roles include Ensemble in Pippin, Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, and Rizzo in Grease.
She was also a member of her high school Madrigals singers.
"I am honored to be working with these wonderful people! Break legs everyone!!"

MASA GIBSON (Mr. Jefferson, Gordon, Mr. Grey and others) graduated from Rutgers University with a double BA in Music and Linguistics.
He appeared in several operas with Opera at Rutgers and with Opera at Florham, while based in New Jersey.
After relocating to Ithaca, Masa graduated from the Actor's Workshop of Ithaca where he now teaches the Meisner technique as an assistant instructor.
Recent stage roles include Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theatre Incognita) and Tom in Fat Pig (Readers' Theatre of Ithaca).

KELLIE HASELKAMP (Alexi Darling and others) is a senior Mechanical Engineering major at Cornell University from Milford, CT.
She has been singing since she can remember, and spends almost all of her spare time performing in the a cappella group The Chordials.
Kellie sang in a semi-professional jazz group in high school, and has been lucky enough to sing in such amazing places as the Lincoln Center, National Cathedral, and in locations throughout England and the United States.
She is honored to be part of such an amazing cast!

JAKE MINTER (Pastor, Squeegee Man and others) is a sophomore Composition major in the School of Music at Ithaca College.
He has been active in theatre and musical theatre in his home state of Vermont since age 11, and has performed in various community and school productions around Vermont as Frederic in Pirates of Penzance, Tony in West Side Story, C.B. in Dog Sees God, Schroeder in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Jamie in The Last 5 Years.
As a composer, he is currently in talks to begin a workshop of his first musical, and his music can be seen in upcoming Ithaca College films.

JORDAN SCHULTZ (Paul, The Man, Caroler and others) is a Sophomore Acting major at Ithaca College who is excited to be joining the MTC for such an important piece.
Jordan's favorite roles include Charlie Brown in Ising's production of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and favorite regional credits include the role of Charlie Brown in The LymeLight Foundation's production of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.
When not playing Charlie Brown, Jordan sometimes plays grown up characters.

SUE-JEAN SUNG (Mrs. Jefferson, Bag Lady and others), a freshman at Cornell University, is thrilled to be in the cast of Rent in her first MTC production.
Previous roles include Lefou in Beauty and the Beast, Mayzie La Bird in Seussical the Musical, and Kratnoff in High School Musical.
She has recently been working behind the scenes as co-director of Annie and director and co-writer of Prescription for Love: An Original Musical.
Sue-Jean is glad to be back on stage performing and would like to thank her family and friends for all of their undying support, as well as the cast and crew for the unforgettable experience.
